Younger Preparatory Team – U9 + U8 (U7 – 4+1)

Technical Regulations:

1. Eligible players are those born in 2018 and younger; girls may be one year older within their category. Age can be verified by registration card or health insurance card. Players do not have to be registered with a club in the FAČR system.

2. Match duration: 1 x 13 minutes. Number of players: 4 + 1 / awards for a maximum of 9 players.

3. Competition format: According to the number of registered teams (minimum of 5 matches). Referees: provided by Trefto.

4. Rules – all matches are played according to the valid rules of football and the provisions of these regulations. Coaches are responsible for the safe conduct of players throughout the entire venue. Sliding tackles are forbidden! Aggressive or unsporting behaviour by a player may be punished by the referee by sending the player off the pitch. The coach may substitute the player. If the ball is kicked or thrown over the halfway line and for handball outside the penalty area, an indirect free kick is awarded from the place of the offence.

5. Refreshments will be available in the premises during the tournament. Parents and accompanying persons must stay only in the designated area and are not allowed to enter the changing rooms. Behind the goal there will be an area for players to warm up and rest, with drinking water provided. Only the coach and assistant coach are allowed on the pitch, and only in indoor sports shoes. Before the start of the tournament, each team must submit its team sheet at the timekeeper’s table. A team that does not submit a team sheet forfeits the opportunity to compete for individual player awards. All players and coaches are strictly prohibited from commenting on the decisions and statements of the referee.

6. Ranking is determined by: a) number of points, b) head-to-head result, c) goal difference, d) higher number of goals scored, e) a shootout of three penalty kicks.

7. Pitch: indoor court.

8. Goals: handball goals – low-bounce ball = futsal.

9. Protests: any protests are submitted by the team leader to the tournament director, not to the referees.

10. Goalkeeper: If playing the ball from the hand, the goalkeeper may not throw or kick the ball over the halfway line. If the goalkeeper puts the ball on the ground and the ball is in motion, the goalkeeper becomes a regular outfield player and may then kick the ball over the halfway line. A back-pass is allowed. If the goalkeeper catches the ball outside the goal area, the opponent is awarded an indirect free kick from the place of the offence. After a goal kick, if the goalkeeper places the ball on the ground, the stationary ball may not be challenged. The opponent may press the goalkeeper only after the ball has been played or when the goalkeeper moves with the ball towards the field of play.

11. Player: The throw-in is always taken from the ground. Either by a pass or by dribbling. The player can score on the 3rd touch. The referee ensures enough space for the throw-in. Corners are only taken with a kick.

12. Substitutions: The hockey-style way, can be done during uninterrupted play.

13. Set pieces: The defending player must stand at least 3m away from the ball.

14. Rewards: All teams get trophies, the top 3 get medals and certificates. An All-stars team of the tournament will be selected and rewarded. The coach will receive a team photo.
